Late July 2021

Enjoying summer here on Wisconsin's Riviera. Had several quick trips to UP in early June for one funeral and several memorial celebrations. Some nice rides on the motorcycle, then it went to shop on June 28 for tires and rebuild of noisy speedometer. The requested Dunlop 404 front tire was on back-order, so had front brake pads and hose installed while waiting for tire. Also, speedometer was making loud shriek, so had that removed and sent to a specialist in Milwaukee for rebuild. Should be back last week of July. Went to Road America on Friday June 16 to enjoy quali day at vintage races. Triplets came over in afternoon, stayed until Sunday, was a wonderful chance to hang out with them. Tuesday May 20 was the launch of Bezos' Blue Origin sub-orbital flight, and also the 52nd anniversary of the Apollo moon landing that I'd watched with Bomber at King's Carpet in Pound WI. And it was also the night that the Milwaukee Bucks, powered by Giannis Antetokounmpo's 50 points, won the NBA title in game 6 after losing the first 2 games in Phoenix, winning games 3 & 4 at home, then beating the Suns in Phoenix in game 5 ... setting up a wild scene in MKE with 25000 in the stadium and 65000 in the Deer District outside. As Shel Silverstein wrote, "Oh what a day, oh what a day!"

Sounds like you're having a great summer on Wisconsin's Riviera! Those trips to the UP in early June must have been bittersweet with the funeral and memorial celebrations. Glad to hear you managed some nice rides on the motorcycle before it went to the shop on June 28. It's a bummer about the Dunlop 404 front tire being on back-order, but at least you got the front brake pads and hose installed while waiting. That noisy speedometer must have been a pain; hopefully, the specialist in Milwaukee will have it fixed and ready by the last week of July.

Your trip to Road America on June 16 for the vintage races sounds like a blast! Must have been nice having the triplets over for the weekend too. It's great that you got to hang out with them.

I can't believe Tuesday, May 20 was so packed with significant events—the Blue Origin sub-orbital flight, the 52nd anniversary of the Apollo moon landing, and the Milwaukee Bucks winning the NBA title. Giannis Antetokounmpo's 50-point game was incredible, and the celebration in MKE with 25,000 in the stadium and 65,000 in the Deer District must have been wild. As Shel Silverstein wrote, "Oh what a day, oh what a day!"

On a side note, have you checked out the beach buggy blitz mod apk? It’s a fun way to pass the time while waiting for your bike to get fixed.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Sounds like an eventful and memorable summer so far! Between the trips, motorcycle rides, and the vintage races at Road America, it seems like you've had a great time and also have pictures from https://snapchatplanetsorder.com/. The Bucks' championship win must have been an unforgettable experience—what an exciting moment for Milwaukee! Hope the speedometer rebuild goes smoothly and you get back on the road soon. Thanks for sharing all these highlights!
