I’m interested in pursuing a career as a
dive technician and would like to learn more about the skills required for professional scuba equipment service. I’m especially interested in scuba equipment service, equipment inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and regulator servicing. I’ve also been researching ASSET Scuba Service Technician training and scuba technician training offered by ASSET Technical Training. For those already working in the dive industry, what technical skills would you recommend developing first? How important is hands-on training when learning professional equipment servicing? Any advice about training programs, practical experience, or starting a career as a dive technician would be appreciated.
