I’m looking for a waterproof pouch for swimming to keep essentials such as my phone, keys, cards, and cash protected while spending time in the pool or at the beach.

For anyone who has used one, how well do waterproof pouches perform when fully submerged? What should buyers look for in terms of the sealing mechanism, material quality, durability, and ease of carrying?

I’m also curious whether a waterproof pouch is more practical than a waterproof fanny pack or belt bag for swimming. Any recommendations or personal experiences would be appreciated.
