UAE PPC payment deducted but NBAD balance not updated correctly

Hi all,

I am posting here because I could not find a clear answer from the bank support team. I made a UAE PPC related payment from my account with National Bank of Abu Dhabi two days ago. I received the SMS confirmation that the amount was deducted, but when I check my online banking the transaction is showing as pending and my available balance is lower than expected.

The confusing part is that the current balance and available balance are not matching, and I am not sure which one the system will consider for my next scheduled debit. I have another PPC linked payment coming up and I am worried it might fail even though the funds are technically there.

Customer care told me it is a temporary hold but they did not give a proper timeline for when it will clear. Has anyone faced a similar issue with PPC deductions from NBAD and how long did it take for the balance to reflect correctly? I just want to be sure before I proceed with any other payments.

I recently made a UAE PPC payment, and the amount was deducted from my account, but my NBAD balance hasn’t updated correctly. It’s quite concerning because the transaction shows as successful, yet the available balance doesn’t reflect the deduction properly. I’ve checked my statement multiple times and even refreshed the app, but the discrepancy remains rtps bihar. I hope First Abu Dhabi Bank can look into this issue promptly and clarify whether it’s a temporary system delay or something that requires further action from my side.
