The alpine meadow is the defining feature of the
Khaliya Top trek. Locally associated with the high-altitude bugyal landscape of Uttarakhand, Khaliya Top offers a refreshing contrast to the surrounding forested slopes. After completing the initial ascent, trekkers reach open terrain where the horizon suddenly expands. In favourable seasons, the meadow becomes lush and inviting, while winter covers portions of the landscape with snow.
