Hi everyone,
Clean windows can make a home feel brighter and more inviting, but keeping them spotless isn't always easy. Dust, pollen, water spots, and fingerprints can build up quickly, especially on exterior glass.
One thing that helps is choosing a cloudy day for cleaning. Direct sunlight can dry the cleaning solution too quickly and leave streaks behind. A good squeegee and a microfiber cloth also make a big difference compared with using paper towels alone.
It's worth cleaning window screens and frames, too, since dirt from these areas can end up back on the glass. For stubborn mineral deposits, avoid abrasive tools that might scratch the surface.
For upper-floor windows or hard-to-reach areas, professional cleaning can be a safer and more convenient option.
How often do you usually clean your windows, and do you have any tips for preventing streaks?
