Realized my tool was limiting my income

Lately I’ve been thinking about something I didn’t really consider before. I’ve been working with the same diagnostic tool for quite a while, and technically it still “works”. But I started noticing that I avoid certain jobs — not because I can’t do them, but because I’m not sure the tool will handle it properly.It’s mostly newer cars or anything that requires deeper access. I either refuse those jobs or send people somewhere else. Now I’m wondering — how much money am I actually losing because of this? Did anyone have the same realization at some point?
