QBank – How Important Is It for Effective Exam Preparation?

macclarke
Hi everyone,

I’m currently preparing for a major medical exam and wanted to get some opinions on how people use a qbank as part of their study strategy.

There’s a lot of advice out there about balancing content review with practice questions, and many candidates seem to recommend spending a significant amount of time working through question banks. I’m curious whether people found a qbank most useful for learning new concepts, identifying weak areas, improving clinical reasoning, or simply getting comfortable with exam-style questions.

For those who have relied heavily on question banks, how did you structure your study routine? Did you review explanations in detail after each session, or focus more on completing a high volume of questions?

I’m also interested in knowing when you started using question banks during your preparation and whether they made a noticeable difference in your confidence before exam day.

Any tips, strategies, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
