Does customer feedback actually change anything?

Hi everyone,

I've been thinking about this lately: when we fill out those online feedback forms at restaurants or stores, does it actually make a difference?

I used one recently just to share my experience, and it was surprisingly quick and easy to fill out. It got me wondering if the companies actually read them or if it just goes into a void.
